Can I able to change the date of the exams?
Yes one can change the date of examination but before 10 working days from the date of test. The cost of the change will be the half of the test fee.
What happens if I change the date of test?
If the date of test is changed than inform the authority before 7 days of the actual test date. For this $50 needs to be paid other wise, whole fee will be forfeited.
What happens if I cancel the test?

Can I re-take the GRE?

If the applicant thinks that he has not performed well in the first test he can than give the re-test keeping in mind the best scores will be taken into consideration. For e.g. If in the first test an applicant has scored 550 in verbal and 660 in quantitative section and in the second test the scores are 600 in verbal and 580 in quantitative, then in such a case, the admission committee will consider 600 in verbal and 660 in quantitative section for admission.

In case of CAT GRE, scores are sending to maximum 4 institutions and it is also after 10-15 days of the test held. If you have not selected the score recipients, a fine of $15 have to pay for sending the scores at the last day. In case of paper based test scores can be send up-to maximum 4 institutions after 4-6 weeks from the date of test. For not selecting the recipients a fine of $15 needs to be paid.
